WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Coverage for eligible
Maryland horsemen.
The program is open to licensed trainers and backstretch workers in good standing who meet its Maryland employment requirement. Contact MTHA to confirm eligibility and enroll.
Licensed & in good standing.
Participants must be licensed trainers or backstretch workers in good standing.
Six months with a Maryland-based trainer.
Participants must be currently employed by a Maryland-based trainer and have been employed for the past six months.

Whether you’re treating a short-term illness or managing an ongoing condition, coordination with MedStar physicians in the Horsemen’s Health System helps keep your care connected.
Generic medications are recommended.
Speak with your physician about generic prescriptions and the medications appropriate for your care.
Arrange a checkup for prescriptions and refills.
MedStar doctors in the Horsemen’s Health System can order prescriptions and refills with a checkup appointment.
