Stall applications due; update on 'work and go' horses at Pimlico

The Maryland Jockey Club has issued a few notices for horsemen based at Laurel Park and Pimlico Race Course.

Stall applications for the fall and winter meets at Laurel Park are due Aug. 31. The MJC said if stall applications are not submitted, trainers will not be considered for stabling.

The MJC also said that effective immediately, all "work and go" horses must ship to the Receiving Barn at Pimlico. No vans will be permitted behind the grandstand.
