MTHA, MHBA to make presentations before Racing Operating Authority
The Maryland Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association and Maryland Horse Breeders Association on Oct. 6 will make presentations during the next meeting of the Maryland Thoroughbred Racetrack Operating Authority.

There will be a public comment period after the presentations, according to the agenda.
At the Sept. 29 meeting of the MTROA, 1/ST Racing (The Stronach Group) made a presentation on its view of the future of Maryland racing.
Laurel Park in 2023 was able to host 273 turf races, the most since 2019 and the highest number among all racetracks in the Mid-Atlantic region.
