Laurel Park will be open for training Oct. 26, closed Oct. 27-28

Training at Laurel Park will be available Monday, Oct. 26, as a project to repair the base of the main track in two locations has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Wednesday, Oct. 28.
Maryland Jockey Club Track Superintendent Chris Bosley said a changing weather forecast is the reason for the schedule change. The project, which will begin after training ends Oct. 26, iinvolves repairing spots located near the 5/8ths pole and the 11/16ths pole.
